The Indigenous Police Chiefs of Ontario (IPCO), in collaboration with the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP) and with the support of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Indigenous Policing Bureau, is pleased to announce the second Indigenous Awareness Symposium. This specialized training program aims to unite police leaders to enhance education, cultural awareness, and understanding of critical issues affecting Indigenous peoples and policing across Ontario.

The program is designed to align with key recommendations from landmark reports and inquiries, including the Ipperwash Inquiry Report, the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada report, and the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls
