In partnership with the OACP, the CCN (Corporate Communications Network) Executive hosts two training courses every year for those working in media and communication roles in Ontario police services.

Throughout the course, members will receive hands-on training in several different areas, including how to conduct proper media interviews, how to develop key messages, how to write a media release, how to respond to a crisis, and how to use social media tools to your advantage.

After successfully completing the course, you will receive a certificate and Best Practices Guide. You will also become a member of the CCN group, giving you the opportunity to gain network and gain training and support from fellow Media Relations Officers (MROS), Public Information Officers (PIOs), and communications experts working in law enforcement throughout Ontario.
